GDPR Compliance
Last updated: 2 June 2026
Inside Euro Life is committed to protecting the rights of individuals in accordance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. This page summarises our GDPR commitments and explains the rights available to data subjects in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. It supplements our full Privacy Policy.
1. Our Commitment
Although Inside Euro Life is operated from India, we provide content to and may process the personal data of visitors located in the European Union and the United Kingdom. We are therefore committed to handling such data in accordance with the GDPR’s principles: lawfulness, fairness and transparency; purpose limitation; data minimisation; accuracy; storage limitation; integrity and confidentiality; and accountability.
2. Lawful Bases for Processing
We only process personal data where we have a lawful basis to do so. The bases we rely on are:
- Consent — for analytics cookies, advertising cookies and newsletter subscriptions
- Legitimate interests — for operating the Website, responding to enquiries and preventing fraud
- Legal obligation — where we are required to process data by law
3. Your Rights Under the GDPR
If you are located in the EEA or the UK, you have the following rights:
- Right to be informed — about how your data is collected and used (provided through our Privacy Policy)
- Right of access — to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — to have inaccurate data corrected
- Right to erasure — to have your data deleted in certain circumstances
- Right to restrict processing — to limit how your data is used
- Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to object — to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing
- Rights related to automated decision-making — we do not use automated decision-making that produces legal effects
4. How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any of your GDPR rights, please send a request to devvkapil@gmail.com. We will respond within one month of receiving your request, as required by the GDPR. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. There is no fee for exercising your rights, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
5. Consent Management
We obtain consent for non-essential cookies and marketing communications through clear, affirmative action — our cookie consent banner and newsletter opt-in. You may withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
6. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA and the UK, including India and the countries where our service providers (such as Google) operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including the standard contractual clauses and adequacy mechanisms used by our service providers.
7. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and, where required, affected individuals, in accordance with the GDPR’s breach notification obligations.
8. Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe your data protection rights have been breached, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. EEA residents can identify their national authority via the European Data Protection Board. UK residents may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
